Troubleshooting FAQ
Quick answers to common questions for all sabers.
How do I install my pixel blade properly?
- Remove the protective plastic from the blade.
- Pre-fit a couple of retention screws before inserting the blade so they are ready to be tightened down.
- Insert the blade into the emitter, carefully pressing the pins into their lower position (you will feel slight resistance from the pins).
- Hold the blade in place and tighten each screw until finger tight. Don't overtighten. Avoid using retention points opposite each other, as this can create a pivot point and let the blade wobble.
- Do not twist the blade once it's installed. This can damage the connection and potentially kill the blade.
Why is there no sound coming from my saber?
Make sure the saber isn't muted (RGB, S-RGB and SNV4 Pro), or that the volume isn't turned all the way down (Proffie). See the volume steps for your core and button setup in the controls guide above.
Why is my blade flickering?
Many of our blade styles, on S-RGB and SNV4 Pro, include a flicker effect. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about.
Can I use any charger to charge my saber?
We only recommend a 5V 1A charging block. Anything more powerful can potentially damage your battery and/or sound board and void your warranty. If you're not sure what you have, reach out to the team and we'll confirm it for you. We're always happy to help.
My gesture controls (twist, flash on clash, etc.) only work some of the time. What can I do?
If your gestures work sometimes but not others, the sensitivity settings are the most common cause. You can adjust them for each effect in the ForcePark V2 app (S-RGB and SNV4 cores):
- Make sure you have the ForcePark V2 app.
- Open the app and connect your saber.
- Tap Data Modify.
- Scroll near the bottom to the sensitivity section. Each effect has its own sensitivity setting.
- Turn the sensitivity all the way up for each effect, then test your gestures again.
Also check that motion control is turned on: with the saber connected, go to Setup and make sure Motion Control is ON. If it's already on, turn it off and back on.
Still not working? Try restoring factory settings (Setup then Restore Factory Settings), and make sure your blade is seated and the retention screws are snug (not overtightened). If gestures are still hit or miss after that, reach out to the team with a short video of what's happening and we'll take it from there.
Please refer to the lightsaber’s accompanying user manual for more detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
