Darth Revan Lightsabers
A Darth Revan lightsaber recreates the red Sith and violet Jedi blades of the Old Republic's most famous Jedi turned Sith Lord, built as a collectible for display or dueling.
Our Revan lightsaber lineup is built around the Revan Sith and Revan Jedi pair: a red-bladed hilt inspired by his Sith era and a violet-bladed hilt inspired by his Jedi era. Take both together for the dual-wield look, or pick either saber on its own. Every build is a collectible inspired by Darth Revan from the Knights of the Old Republic games, not an official or licensed Star Wars product.
Who is Darth Revan?
Darth Revan is a video game character, not a film one. He first appears in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (BioWare, 2003), where he turns out to be the player character, a reveal saved for late in the story. His story continues in a vision in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (2004), in the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011) and its Shadow of Revan expansion (2014), and in the 2011 novel Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan by Drew Karpyshyn.
In the story, Revan is a Jedi who defies the Jedi Council to lead the Republic against the Mandalorians, then falls to the dark side alongside his friend Malak and returns as a Sith Lord. After Malak betrays him, the Jedi capture Revan and erase his memory. KOTOR follows him as he rediscovers who he is and faces Malak at the Star Forge. Since 2014, these stories sit under the Star Wars Legends label rather than current canon.
What color is Darth Revan's lightsaber?
Darth Revan's lightsaber is most often shown red in his Sith era and violet in his Jedi era, and those are the two colors collectors match against. In KOTOR you build Revan's saber yourself, so the blade color is the player's choice. In the KOTOR II vision on Korriban, Revan carries a red saber and a violet saber at the same time, the clearest picture of both sides of him in one scene. Some sources also describe blue and green blades after his memory wipe, so his color history depends on which part of the story you follow.

Which lightsabers does Revan use in each game?
Revan's saber changes with each game and each turn in his story, so our Darth Revan lightsabers are built around his two eras rather than a single scene.
| Saber | Inspired by | Form | Core options |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revan Sith | His Sith era, red blade | Single blade | S-RGB, SNV4 Pro, Proffie |
| Revan Jedi | His Jedi era, violet blade | Single blade | S-RGB, SNV4 Pro, Proffie |
| Revan Sith and Revan Jedi | The red and violet pair from the KOTOR II vision | Dual wield (two separate sabers) | S-RGB, SNV4 Pro, Proffie |
Revan's lightsaber in Knights of the Old Republic
Revan's lightsaber in KOTOR is the one you make. You collect crystals and pick the color as you play, so there is no single correct KOTOR saber. His past as Darth Revan is shown through the masked Sith Lord look, and red became the blade color most tied to it. The Revan Sith hilt brings that look home with a red blade, and the blade color can be switched if your playthrough went another way.
The red and violet sabers in KOTOR II
The vision fight in KOTOR II is the scene behind the dual-wield look: a silent Darth Revan faces the Jedi Exile with a red saber in one hand and a violet saber in the other. It is his only physical appearance in that game. The Revan Sith and Revan Jedi set gives you both blades as two separate sabers, so you can wield them together or display them side by side.
Revan in The Old Republic
Players meet Revan again in SWTOR, first as a prisoner of the Sith Emperor and later as the main antagonist of the Shadow of Revan expansion, where he leads a faction called the Revanites. Our sabers are not modeled on one SWTOR scene, but the red and violet pairing covers both sides of the character fans know from that era.
Which Darth Revan lightsaber form is right for you?
Single-blade Revan lightsabers
A single Revan lightsaber suits collectors who connect with one side of his story. Choose Revan Sith if you want the Darth Revan look with a red blade. Choose Revan Jedi if you prefer the violet-bladed Jedi he was before his fall. Both are available individually through the Revan Sith and Revan Jedi listing, in 32 inch or 36 inch blades. The 32 inch blade is lighter and quicker in the hand, while the 36 inch blade has more presence on display.
Dual-wielding Revan lightsabers
The pair is the most complete way to own Revan lightsabers, since it captures the red and violet moment from KOTOR II in one purchase. Two separate hilts also work well for dual-wield practice and cosplay. If you like the two-saber style, browse our full range of dual-wielding lightsabers.
Neopixel or baselit: which core suits a Revan lightsaber?
Every Revan saber comes in three cores. Baselit (S-RGB) lights the blade from an LED in the hilt and holds up best to heavy contact. Neopixel (SNV4 Pro and Proffie) runs LEDs along the full length of the blade for an even glow and more realistic ignition effects, and suits display and light dueling.
| Core | Blade type | Sound fonts | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| S-RGB | Baselit | 12 to 16 | Heavy dueling, app control on a baselit saber |
| SNV4 Pro | Neopixel | 25 to 27, plus ignition styles and combat effects | First neopixel saber, easy setup through the ForcePark app |
| Proffie | Neopixel | 25 to 27, plus ignition styles and combat effects | Advanced users who want the most customization |
- Choose S-RGB if you plan to spar hard with your Revan sabers.
- Choose SNV4 Pro if you want the full-length neopixel glow without a learning curve.
- Choose Proffie if you want to fine-tune every effect.
