Cal Kestis Lightsabers
Cal Kestis lightsabers from Lumasabers are premium hilts inspired by the Star Wars Jedi games, available in neopixel or baselit.
This collection has five Cal Kestis lightsabers, grouped by game. From Fallen Order: the Cal Kestis Fallen Order Weathered and the Cere + Cal Kestis Double-Bladed. From Survivor: the Cal Kestis Survivor and the Cal Kestis Crossguard Weathered. The fifth, the Cal Kestis SE, is a modified version of both single-blade sabers with improved grip and handling for dueling.
Who is Cal Kestis?
Cal Kestis is the playable hero of the Star Wars Jedi games. He is a former Jedi Padawan who survived the Great Jedi Purge, hid from the Empire on Bracca, and was hunted by Inquisitors while trying to rebuild the Jedi Order. Cameron Monaghan voices him and provides his performance capture.
His story starts in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019), set five years after the Empire rose to power. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023) picks up five years after that. His lightsaber changes along the way, which is why collectors like to match a hilt to a specific game.
Cal's canon blade color is blue. He starts with a blue blade and the double-bladed saber he builds on Ilum is blue too, and both games let players change the color, with Survivor adding white. That makes blue the closest match to the character, and any other color a matter of taste. Over the two games Cal loses one saber in Order 66, inherits his master's, builds a new one on Ilum, and in Survivor adds a crossguard emitter from another Jedi's saber.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Cal starts Fallen Order with the lightsaber of his master, Jaro Tapal. Before the Purge it was a double-bladed saber, and in the game it is broken at the bottom until Cal repairs it. After his saber is destroyed on Dathomir, Cal goes to Ilum, where a kyber crystal splits in two. He builds a new hilt from the remains of Jaro's saber and Cere Junda's lightsaber, powered by both crystal halves. The result is double-bladed and can split into two single-bladed sabers for Jar'Kai, and Cal can ignite one blade or both. After his duel with Darth Vader and the Second Sister, he modifies it so both halves look more like Jaro's.
The Cal Kestis Fallen Order Weathered is our single-blade hilt for this game. The Cere + Cal Kestis Double-Bladed is the double-bladed one, based on the saber he builds from Jaro's and Cere's sabers.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Survivor gives Cal five lightsaber stances and lets him carry two at a time, swapping them at meditation points. They are single blade, double-bladed (carried over from Fallen Order), dual wield (a full stance for the first time), crossguard, and a blaster held in one hand with a saber in the other.
The Cal Kestis Survivor is our hilt for this game and the Cal Kestis Crossguard Weathered.
Cal Kestis SE: improved grip and handling
The Cal Kestis SE is not tied to one game. It is a modified version of Cal's single-blade sabers from both Fallen Order and Survivor, with improved grip and handling for better balance, which makes it the one to pick if you duel. It comes in RGB baselit, SNv4 Pro, or Proffie.
Which Cal Kestis lightsaber is right for you?
Cal Kestis crossguard lightsaber
The Cal Kestis crossguard lightsaber matches the slowest, hardest-hitting style in Survivor, where every swing trades speed for damage. In the story, Cal adds the crossguard emitter from Drya Thornne's lightsaber to his saber on Koboh, turning it into a crossguard lightsaber. Our Crossguard Weathered comes in neopixel only, with an SNv4 Pro or Proffie core, so it suits display and light dueling more than constant hard contact. For more crossguard style hilts, see our crossguard lightsabers.
The side quillon blades light up too, so the crossguard shape shows when the saber is lit.
Cal Kestis double bladed lightsaber
The Cal Kestis double bladed lightsaber is the Cere + Cal Kestis Double-Bladed, based on the saber Cal builds on Ilum from Jaro Tapal's and Cere Junda's sabers. In the games the double-bladed style favors speed and defense over raw power, and it works well against groups of enemies. It comes in S-RGB baselit, SNv4 Pro, or Proffie.
Searching for a Cal Kestis dual lightsaber? In the games, Cal's saber splits into two single-bladed sabers, which is how he dual wields. The Cere + Cal Kestis Double-Bladed hilt separates into two the same way, so you can run it as one double-bladed saber or dual wield it. To compare more options, browse our double-bladed lightsabers.
Neopixel or baselit for a Cal Kestis lightsaber?
A neopixel Cal Kestis lightsaber runs LEDs along the whole blade for an even, realistic glow, and it suits display and light dueling. Baselit lights the blade from the base with fewer LEDs and holds up better to heavy dueling. Both come in the same colors.
| Feature | Baselit (RGB, S-RGB) | Neopixel (SNv4 Pro, Proffie) |
|---|---|---|
| Lighting | LED in the base | LEDs along the full blade |
| Best for | Heavy dueling | Display, collecting, light dueling |
| Sound fonts | 12 to 16 | 25 to 27, plus ignition styles and combat effects |
| Contact | Built for hard contact | Hard strikes can damage the LED strips |
| Cal Kestis hilts | Cal Kestis SE, Survivor, Fallen Order Weathered, Cere + Cal Kestis Double-Bladed | All five, including the Crossguard Weathered |
- Choose baselit if you plan to duel hard. The Cal Kestis SE in RGB has the improved grip and balance for it.
- Choose SNv4 Pro if you want neopixel glow with control through the ForcePark app. It is the neopixel core we point first-time buyers to.
- Choose Proffie if you want the most customization and are comfortable with a more technical core.
For the full breakdown, read our saber tech guide, or browse all neopixel lightsabers. If you duel hard, see our baselit lightsabers.
